Three Peaks Challenge - BEN NEVIS
Ben Nevis, at 1344 metres, towers over the Highland Town of Fort William. That some 4409' in old money. Most routes begin at just above sea level, which means that you will need to climb the full height of the mountain (Scafell Pike & Snowdon both allow some height gain in your vehicle). Most groups will attempt the climb using the 'Mountain Track' (previously known as the Tourist Path). Popular starts are from the Glen Nevis Visitor Centre, the Ben Nevis Inn, and Glen Nevis Youth Hostel.

Three Peaks Challenge - FORT WILLIAM
Fort William is a bustling Highland town that is just a 5 minute drive from the start of your Ben Nevis climb. Many teams will stay overnight in Fort William the night before their challenge. You should not under-estimate just how far north into Scotland Fort William actually is...! It will take you a good 2 hours and 30 minutes to drive from Glasgow International Airport - and is roughly 10 hours drive from London, not accounting for any comfort, fuel or food breaks.
